Brandon Matthew Stewart was born May 24, 1995 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the son of Mike Stewart, a Plant Supervisor at North American Stainless and Melanie Tomlinson Stewart, the President's Executive Assistant at North American Stainless. He has two brothers, Ryan Stewart and Tyler Stewart. Brandon was raised in Carrollton, Kentucky and attended Carroll County Public Schools. He played lead in his first big production at the age of fourteen, after his parents noticed his singing ability (playing Danny Zuko in a younger version of "Grease"). Singing and acting became a major part of his life early on, which soon lead to appearances in productions throughout his schooling in musicals such as: "Les Miserables," "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," "A Christmas Carol," "Hello Dolly" and more.After appearing on-stage quite often, Brandon landed several other opportunities aside from theatrical experiences. He was a contestant on American Idol during Season 12, an opening act for George Jones' in concert, performer on Joe B. Hall and Denny Crum radio show, several offers to do voice-overs on Dora the Explorer, asked to sign with Disney Channel as a rising actor, and for a short time modeled with Cosmopolitan magazine. He graduated Carroll County High School in May 2013.Brandon attended college at Bellarmine University for one year before he decided to move to LA for more film opportunities. He attended the New York Film Academy (LA location) for one year. His first year in LA, he played lead in over 40 short films winning a few awards in small film festivals. Brandon now attends private singing and acting courses from professionals in the industry.Brandon's favorite sport is basketball. He grew to enjoy Soccer, Tennis and Baseball too after playing for several years in high school. He can play the piano and the trumpet. He also produces with his first credit recognized by a show in his hometown called, "Carrollton Idol," that is based upon his experience on American Idol. Show less «
