Brandon Stacy's quick wit and quirky sense of humor is ideal for black comedies. His chameleon like quality is especially punctuated when playing characters with charm and intelligence. Intensely interested in expressing masculine vulnerability he gets the romantic guy in a way that makes him a modern leading man with heart and depth. In 2015 Brandon expanded his work in period roles, appearing in "Roots," "Underground," and "American Horror Story." Even in big budget studio films like "The Big Short," the 2015 Oscar winner for best writing and adapted screenplay, Brandon appears in a period flashback as Michael Burry's father, played by Christian Bale.Brandon is passionate about his work as an artist. He grew up on stage as a singer, dancer, and dramatic actor. He has even tried Stand up. He is a well-rounded performer that has appeared in dozens of feature films, television, and New Media. He earned degrees in both Theatre and Film from James Madison University. As an actor and producer, Brandon has no limits when it comes to going where the work is. His work in television began early with bit parts in "Passions," "The King of Queens," "Joey," and "Weeds." The roles continued to grow, as did the projects. Both Brandon's drive and interest have landed him in a variety of film genres, such as horror, sci-fi, period dramas, contemporary dramas, action, and comedy. In the new reality-comedy feature, "Around the Bed," Brandon plays a writer/actor, who assembles a group of friends together to flesh out ideas and help write his new comedy. The antics that soon follow unravel in a surprisingly action filled series of "who done it" hijinks that move in and out of chronological order.
