Brad tackles any challenge that presents itself, from leaping off a 250-foot railroad trellis to documenting the plight of the homeless to trekking across the High Sierras in search of tranquility and the perfect fishing hole.Born in Detroit, Michigan, Brad was fascinated with martial arts and inspired by Bruce Lee at a young age. He began studying Shotokan Karate when he was 13 years old, and after receiving his first Black Belt, he continued training in several different martial arts including Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Eskrima (Stick and Knife Fighting), Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do. Brad became a World Stick Fighting Champion in 2005 and a 2005 Babakan full contact stick and knife fighting Gathering of Warriors Champion.Brad's career has taken him across the world to Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles, where he landed a number of acting roles and advertising campaigns. Brad launched the first "Joe Boxer" campaign, he was featured in high profile editorials, including "Cosmopolitan Men" and two covers of "Men's Fitness" magazine, he performed in several commercials, including a 50 foot swan dive off a cliff in Maui for "Old Spice", then he landed a lead role in the feature film "Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor" as an undercover DEA agent fighting as a tournament contestant.Inspired to learn about the production and legal aspects of the entertainment industry, Brad graduated with a Law Degree (Juris Doctorate) from Southwestern Law School. Brad was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001 and became a partner as the Head of Litigation at a prestigious Beverly Hills Entertainment Law Firm. After working with a litany of producers, Brad returned to his passion of acting and producing. Soon after, he landed a role in Shakespeare's "Richard III". He produced and starred in Syfy's "The Cursed". And he co-produced and acted in the award-winning film "The Sensei" directed by Bruce Lee's goddaughter Diana Lee Inosanto.Brad founded Hopewood Films, an independent production company dedicated to producing high quality, commercially viable and innovative feature films and television shows that reflect the strength and diversity of the human spirit, including Brad's directorial debut "Rich in Spirit" a feature documentary about the journey home for the homeless.Brad is also starring in the gritty action adventure film "Interstellar Civil War". He is also starring in and producing an original series "Prey" about a homeless veteran who learns that vengeance only brings more pain and redemption can be found in the most common places.
