Bob was born and raised in Germany and left home at the age of 15, chasing the adventure of coming to the Land of Opportunities where the money is laying in the streets.He literally started his journey in the entertainment industry at the very bottom, working as an usher in a movie theatre. He learned all aspects of theatre operations from buying concessions, projection, management, buying and booking films etc. He then went on to work as a regional distributor, booking films in theaters. From there, Bob went to work traveling all over Europe licensing foreign films for exhibition on the 'then' infant cable television industry.After moving to Los Angeles, Bob got a job as a theatrical Booker for a film distribution company. He was soon promoted to V.P. & General Manager and shortly thereafter, offered the opportunity to buy the company, which he ended up owning and operating for 25 years.After Bob retired, he was bored with nothing to do and started drinking at 8 o'clock in the morning. Since this was not the life he wanted to live, he gave up drinking and took up acting.Bob started as a background actor and has worked on close to 300 films and television shows. After taking quite a number of classes to learn his craft over the last 9 ½ years, here we are.For Bob, this journey turned out to be more of an adventure than he had ever dreamed possible and...It's just beginning!!!
