Bita Sheibani has had a creative itch since she was very young. She played the piano by the age of 5, designed clothes by the age of 6, performed as a dancer by the age of 8, wrote short stories by the age of 9 and performed as an actor by the age of 10.Bita was born in Iran. She left for London when she was 3 years old. By the time she was 10, she had lived in Iran, London and France. She speaks English, French and Farsi fluently and some German. Her exposure to different cultures has given her an innate ability to pick up various cultural nuances and emulate different accents.Bita studied literature, and music and design at George Washington University and Pratt Institute respectively. While in school, she worked at (BAM) Brooklyn Academy of Music as a designer and independently as a photographer. She continued her studies-visual storytelling and computer graphics at Pasadena Art Center College. After working for Disney (Walt Disney Imagineering, ABC Television) for four-and-a-half years, the urge to return to acting led Bita to leave Disney.In 2008, Bita finally returned to her childhood dream by making her US film-acting debut as Leila in the film "The Stoning of Soraya M".
