At her very first audition, she won the role of 5-year-old "Jaden" in the US miniseries The Starter Wife (2007), which stars Debra Messing, and Judy Davis.Bethany is also the lead voice of 8-year-old Mary Daisy Dinkle in Academy Award Winning Director, Adam Elliot's feature film Mary and Max (2009), starring opposite, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Toni Collette. Mary and Max (2009) is now listed in the top IMDB 250 films of all time.In 2012 Bethany stared as one of five teenage girls in P.J. Hogan's feature film Mental (2012), which also starred Toni Collette, Anthony LaPaglia, Liev Schreiber and Rebecca Gibney. Bethany played the role of 12 year old red head Jane Moochmore, the youngest of the five Moochmore girls.In 2015 Bethany stars in the lead role of Greta Driscoll in the feature film Girl Asleep (2015). A unique production based on the very successful Windmill Theatre play written by Matthew Whittet. Girl Asleep (2015) will have it's International premiere in competition in the Generation 14plus Section at the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival.In 2016 Bethany shows her comedic skills in the Matchbox Pictures/NBC Universal production of The Family Law (2016), a black comedy series that follows the story of a sprawling Chinese-Australian family, based on the memoirs of Benjamin Law.
