Benjamin Yonattan is a 16 yr old dancer best known as a quarter-finalist on America's Got Talent Season 10 (2015) at Radio City Music Hall and as Aidan (actor) on the television show "Speechless" (2017).Adopted from Guatemala at the age of four to a family in America, Ben was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB - a rare skin condition that can cause blisters and wounds with friction or when bumped. Because Ben couldn't participate in most sports, Ben began dancing at a young age. On track to dance professionally, sudden tragedy struck again when, at age 12, Ben quickly lost most of his sight and became legally blind. Over many months' time, Ben had to re-learn how to dance by feel. Today, with only a sliver of remaining sight and breaking barriers in dance, Ben is the only professional contemporary male dancer in the world who is visually impaired. Ben dances and presents a message of hope to audiences young and old, visiting schools with a message to young people about pushing through adversity; the power of faith and believing in all people, regardless of "disability"; treating all people with respect and an anti-bullying message; and the power passion, perseverance, hard work, standards of excellence, seeking new ways to solve challenges, and faith to reach your dreams.Ben began his acting career with a 2017 co-star role on the television show, "Speechless," starring Mini Driver, John Ross Bowie, and Micah Fowler.
