Born and raised in Liverpool, England. Probably best known for his role as 'Aiden Mathis' in the US hit show 'Revenge'. His career began in England where he has appeared in numerous TV shows, notably the BAFTA award winning dramas "Pleasureland" and "The Mark of Cain." Barry appeared as Troy Whitworth in Jez Butterworth's critically acclaimed new play Jerusalem at The Royal Court Theatre London. The play received a West End transfer in January 2010, after a record breaking sell out run it then transferred once again, this time to Broadway. Sloane made his Broadway debut in 'Jerusalem' at the Music Box Theatre in New York in 2011 having previously made his West End debut in Willy Russell's Blood Brothers in 2005. In 2007, Sloane began playing serial killer Niall Rafferty in Channel 4's Hollyoaks. He was nominated twice for 'Villian of the year' 2008 and 2009 and for 'Best Newcomer' at the National Television awards. In 2010 he appeared in the ITV Drama adaptation of PeterRobinsons novel 'Aftermath' and later that year played Kieran Callaghan in the BBC serial medical drama "Holby City.". In 2011 'Variety' announced that Barry landed the role of Chad in Joseph Rueben's 'Penthouse North' starring alongside Michael Keaton and Michelle Monaghan. In early 2012 'Deadline' reported that Barry had landed the male lead in the ABC/20th TV Pilot 'Gotham' playing 'Boyo'. Barry appeared in the epic movie 'Noah' from Darren Aronofsky and in March 2014 it was announced that he would play 'Wes Lawrence' in 'The Whispers' exec produced by Steven Spielberg.Barry is represented by Jeff Golenberg at Silver Lining Entertainment and Ken Lee at Innovative Artists.
