Bárbara Paz was born in Campo Bom, Rio Grande do Sul-Brazil. Began her Performing arts studies in 1992 and graduated at the Escola e Teatro Macunaíma and at Centro de Pesquisa Teatral (CPT), owned by Antunes Filho.Joined the drama group "Tapa", under the direction of Eduardo Tolentino, performing "The Importance of Being Earnest" (2002) by Oscar Wild and "Contos de Sedução" (2004), an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant short stories. With more than 20 plays on her résumé, she starred in several outstanding performances at the national theater circuit being nominated for several awards.At TV definitely conquer her place among the actresses of her generation with the role of great sucess like "Viver a Vida" (2009) , "Amor à Vida" (2013 )and "A Regra do Jogo" (2015).In the movie industry, Barbara starred in several short films and caught attention in feature films like "Gata Velha ainda Mia" (2013), received the Best Actress Kikito award at Gramado Film Festival (2013) for her performance in the short "Produto Descartável" and the "Cavaleiro da Ordem do Mérito Cultural" Medal, granted by the Ministry of Culture, for her career as an actress.
