Beautiful and charismatic brunette Barbara Magnolfi was born to an Italian father and French mother in France. Barbara grew up in Rome, Italy. Magnolfi began studying ballet at age 4 and rose to the level of lead ballerina at age 10. She acted in her first movie in an uncredited role at age 13. At age 15 Barbara started modeling and soon thereafter was featured in international print ads. (She also twice graced the cover of Espresso magazine.) Magnolfi is perhaps best known as Jessica Harper's venomous college roommate Olga in Dario Argento's terrifying horror cult classic Suspiria (1977) and the troubled main character in the lurid giallo La sorella di Ursula (1978).
