With a passion for music that opened her up to an explosive love of everything art, Banza began acting in 2011 landing a lead role as 'Ruth' in the Indianapolis Dance and Urban Theater's rendition of A Raisin in the Sun. In the last few years she has flexed her acting muscles in a dozen theater productions, including the popular comedy Women Behind Bars, 'Gilda' in the stage production of For Colored Girls and most recently Lipstick Monologues; Traces of her Lipstick. With leading roles in the film drama My Brother's Shadow, action thrillers such as Magnux X and 6 feet Below hell, and comedic roles as portrayed in the movie Lost; Banza has an unlimited range. Her knowledge and wit have also landed her as a co-host for an Indianapolis radio show entitled, "Cougar Chronicles." She is currently producing and directing a film about domestic violence based on a play by Demarco Plays, entitled Dear Diary.
