Bakeeba Ruffin better known by his stage name Tef Kaluminati is an American rapper, actor, and filmmaker, known for Savage Genesis (2020) and Heavy Weight on the Block 2 (2012).Tef Kaluminati recorded his first underground hit single 'Get Down' featuring Grammy nominated rapper Bone Crusher. By 2006, Tef was touring as an opener for Grammy nominated rapper Soulja Boy and in 2008 he toured over Canada as an opener for the Bad Boy South/Young Joc Tour. After releasing a number of albums and Eps, in 2012, Tef landed a distribution deal with Master P's No Limit Records. Opening for major superstars like Jay Z, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, and Migos, to name a few, and music sales of over 400,000 copies sold independently, he began successful business ventures in fashion, technology & media, and film. His first role was in feature film 'Heavy on The Block 2'. In 2020 Tef wrote and directed his first full featured film 'Savage Genesis'. His movie got distribution on major streaming platforms such as Tubi, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and more.
