Ashley was born Ashley Victoria Whillans in Coquitlam, BC on May 25th, 1988. Inspired by an audition for The Sound of Music, at the age of 8 she begged her parents for an agent. After careful consideration, (none of her family is in the business, and they were definitely skeptical) her parents complied. Shortly after-wards Ashley signed with an agent and booked her first commercial "Kitchen Littles".Since then Ashley has performed extensively in both theatre and film, and recently returned (2008) from the famed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she studied Shakespeare alongside Harry Potter's Emma Watson. In 2006 she played the daughter of Jason Priestly and acted alongside Gary Hudson and Lou Diamond Phillips in the recently released science fiction thriller "Termination Point".Earlier last year (2008) she finished filming an independent feature film directed by Kate Twa entitled "Candyland", in which she played Brianne, a girl whose life takes a turn for the worst as she becomes addicted to the drug Crystal Meth. This film presented Ashley with the amazing experience of not only filming with a mostly improvised script, but also the opportunity to act along side respected actors such as JR Bourne, and Iris Quinn.Ashley is currently (2007) being taught by coach Kate Twa at Cucumber Satellite Film & Television Society as well as Deanne Henry and Trillby Jeeves. In addition to acting Ashley is a skilled writer, and contributes photographs, reviews, and articles for her College Newspaper "The Other Press".
