Ashley Argota is best known for her role as Lulu in Nickelodeon's hit show, True Jackson, VP (2008), and also as Kelly in Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures (2011). She starred in Disney's hit Broadway musical, "The Lion King", as Young Nala, at only 11 years old. She has appeared on TV shows including iCarly (2007), The Troop (2009), The Division, MAD TV, The Wayne Brady Show, and The Shield. When she's not in front of the cameras, Ashley is behind the mic. Her recording career began when she became the youngest performer ever to win five times in a row at Amateur Night at The Apollo, which led to her becoming a "Star of Tomorrow" at Showtime at The Apollo. She was also a semi-finalist on the Arsenio Hall hosted "Star Search" in 2003, where Ben Stein commented, "This girl has the best stage presence out of any young performer I've ever seen."After finishing a run at the Pasadena Playhouse in the Lythgoe Family musical production of "Aladdin and His Winter Wish" as Princess Jasmine alongside Ben Vereen, she filmed a recurring role on Disney XD's number one show, "Lab Rats", where she played the evil bionic soldier, S-1. Her Disney Channel Original movie, How to Build a Better Boy (2014), premiered in August to 4.6 million viewers, and became the number one event on the Watch Disney Channel App, with one million people tuning in before the premiere. She also shot small spots on ABC Family's Chasing Life (2014) and NBC's pilot Cabot College (2014), produced by Tina Fey and Matt Hubbard. At the same time, Ashley booked a recurring role on ABC Family's The Fosters (2013), where she plays Lou, the lead singer of Someone's Little Sister, the shows new band. Due to the amount of fans asking for the music they heard Ashley performing in multiple episodes, ABC Family surprised fans (and Ashley!) during the summer finale of "The Fosters" by releasing a "Someone's Little Sister EP", which included the four songs she sang on the show for the season. Upon it's release, the EP shot to number 18 on the iTunes Alternative chart and number 100 on the iTunes overall chart. Ashley just finished a seven month run playing Juliet in the Bradley Bredeweg/Rockwell Table and Stage production of Romeo & Juliet: Love Is A Battlefield, a modern take on the classic story of Romeo & Juliet, set to the epic anthems of Pat Benatar. The show won six Los Angeles Scenie Awards, including Best Musical Revue, Best Ensemble in a Musical Revue, and Best Performance In A Musical Revue for her role as Juliet. While working on the show, she has filmed more episodes of Lab Rats, The Fosters, as well as four movies. Her first single, Limitless, is available on iTunes.
