Aron Levander (b. 1979) grew up in Uppsala, Sweden. Following his graduation, Levander moved to France to study french at the University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis.In 1999 Levander moved to London where he began his writing career, writing out of boredom on plastic bags at the retail store where he was employed. In 2000 Levander moved back to Sweden for language studies at the University of Uppsala, and in 2001 he went on to study marketing at Pace University, New York.2002 Levander was accepted to attend the internationally acclaimed ad school Berghs School of Communication, in Stockholm. After graduating, Levander was hired as a creative at Acne - a creative collective that today has branched into several brands, including fashion brand Acne Studios, fashion magazine Acne Paper, production company Acne Film, and ad agency Acne Advertising. Through Acne's film department, Levander was first introduced to the art of screenwriting.In 2009 Levander left the advertising industry to study screenwriting at Alma Education in Sunne, Sweden. Following his graduation at Alma, and continuing studies in Los Angeles, London, and Denmark, Levander premiered at Gothenburg International Filmfestival in 2014, with his thirty minute short När sugfiskar krockar (2014), that went on to screen at International du Court Métrage at Clermont-Ferrand, and other festivals.In 2016 Levander joined the writers room for the second season of Swedish award-winning TV-series Jordskott, la forêt des disparus (2015).Together with Hans Jörnlind, Levander created and wrote the TV-series Det som göms i snö (2018) starring celebrated Swedish actor and comedian Robert Gustafsson (Le vieux qui ne voulait pas fêter son anniversaire (2013)), based on an idea by acclaimed crime author and professor in criminology Leif G.W. Persson. Robert Gustafsson was awarded Best Male Actor at the Swedish TV awards Kristallen (2019) for his role as police intendent Peter Wendel.Aron Levander is represented by literary agent Salomonsson Agency in Stockholm, Sweden.
