Arnell first learned she had acting talent when she performed in community plays while growing up in her hometown, where she was raised in a large, loving family. Later, as an adult, her "natural gift" was further confirmed in more plays and in actors training. In May 2018, a friend encouraged her to begin background acting while in between jobs. To her surprise, she enjoyed it tremendously and often was selected for featured background roles, such as in "Sins of the Father," "What Men Want," "Every Day But Christmas" as well as several upcoming releases.
