Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ariella began acting in theaters around town at the ripe old age of 3. She trained at the Hamilton Academy of Music in Musical Theater and Drama before going on to graduate from UCLA with honors with a degree in World Arts and Cultures. She is a first generation born American and spent a short time in her mother's home country of Nicaragua. Her biological father is from Panama. She was adopted at the age of 20 by the man who had been her father since she was a young girl.She married Michael Fiore in 1998 and they had 2 children. They all live on their homestead in Van Nuys, raising chickens, gardening, and making preserves.She started her career in Hollywood after college, first behind the camera doing costume design but quickly realized she hated it. She went back on stage until she realized she was missing out on all the opportunities to "play" on camera, so she moved herself around to the front of the camera and has been enjoying continuing to to both stage and on screen performances.She's won several acting awards for her theater performances.Her first one woman show, I Can't Sing, will premiere in 2016 in Los Angeles.
