Apinderdeep Singh Known for his role as Sukhi in Netflix's original film Jogi, was born on 3rd March 1994 in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, in India. He shifted to Mumbai in 2021 for his acting career.Career : He started his acting career in 2016 by playing Gurmukh Singh in 'The battle of Saragarhi'. The movie got shelved even after a stretched schedule of about 3 years due to inevitable circumstances, that led him to disappointment but he still fought with it. He again began his career in December 2019 as Intern Assistant Director to Gowtam Tinnanuri in 'Jersey' (2022), 3rd Assistant Director to Ratna Sinha in 'Middle-class Love' (2022), 3rd Assistant Director to Mayank Sharma in Amazon Prime's web series 'Breathe Into The Shadows' Season 2 (2022), and subsequently, made his acting debut playing 'Sukhi' in Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Jogi' - a Netflix Original which is finally releasing on 16th September 2022 based on real incidents happened in between 31st October - 4th November 1984. He played the character of Jogi's elder Brother who helped him and his family in the escape from the mob.Early life: Apinderdeep Singh was born on 3 March 1994 to a Sikh family in Amritsar district, Punjab, India. His father, S. Surinder Singh and his mother, Mrs. Kamaljeet Kaur lives in Amritsar. He has one sibling, an elder sister, who lives in Ontario, Canada. He spent his early childhood in Amritsar. He completed his formal education at Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Golden Avenue, Amritsar. While still in school, he began his modeling career. After matriculation, Apinderdeep Singh won a North region's pageant- Mr. Turban in 2011, which was the beginning of his journey towards his dream. Later, he completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government Polytechnic College Amritsar in 2014 and completed his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Amritsar Group of Colleges in 2018. After working in the private sector for more than 1 year, in December 2019, he got an opportunity to work in Jersey Movie as Intern Assistant Director. While doing Jersey, he cracked the audition for Jogi, which let him come to Mumbai in January 2021. Show less «
