Growing up in New York, Anthony was always fascinated with television and movies. He would do whatever it took to stay up as late as possible to watch 'Dark Shadows', 'Twilight Zone', 'Frankenstein' or any other monster movie that was on. As soon as he was able, he started to play with the Halloween makeup kits making all the cuts, bruises and faces that he could think of. Most of them were used as practical jokes on his friends and family. At the age of 17, Anthony was accepted into The Institute of Studio Makeup. After he graduated High School, he drove out to California to attend school. Upon completion, Anthony graduated with degrees in High Fashion, Theater and Motion Picture/Prosthetic Makeup. He returned to New York to start working in the film industry. Fascinated with the zombie/horror genre, Anthony worked on many low budget horror films just to get his hands bloody. After a few films, Anthony knew this is where he belonged. He gained the moniker 'Dr. Death' because of his work with the living dead and the not so dead. For the next dozen or so films he continued to do what he did best, Special Effects Make-up. But over time he started to feel something missing in his career as a Special Effects Make-up Artist. He wanted to learn other aspects of the film industry, so he decided to take a couple of classes at a local college. Anthony and his teachers knew the classroom was not for him. He ended up using this time to make a reel for displaying his talents, 'throwing blood around on film'. The one thing he got out of school was a lot of praise and respect for what he did and the drive that he has. After his first film, 'R.I.P.' made a lot of noise in the film festival circuit, He realized that Writer/Director would be the next way to go. Three shorts and a feature film later, he was on his way to realizing that goal.Anthony gained popularity as a Special Effects Make-up Artist, while also working on rounding out his knowledge on the film set. In the last few years he has worked for Trinity Broadcasting Network, as their lead Cameraman, Palmer Video production as a traveling Camera operator and various other film projects. He became a 'Script Doctor' when he started receiving scripts from people and they asked his opinion of what they should do. The credit for 'Creative Consultant' was soon added to round out his resume today. Over the last couple of years he as settled into a position as a 'Script Supervisor'. This position allows him to continue writing his own and rewriting other peoples work. The long list of credits that he has included, but is not limited to; Make-up Artist, Special Effects Artist, Cameraman, Production Manager, Producer, Writer, Director and Creative Consultant. Anthony has devoted over half his life to the industry, and continues to do so today.
