Anthony Carasa (also known as Tito Bonito, the Cuban Missile Crisis of burlesque) is an international and award-winning burlesque performer, emcee, instructor, editor, and actor. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Tito studied theatre in Chicago and discovered the resurgence of vaudeville. From there, Carasa moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and, shortly afterwards, was named one of Time Out LA's Top Burlesque Performers in LA. His YouTube channel, "Cuban Missile Series", chronicled his career and travels and helped Tito become one of LA Weekly's People of 2016. In 2017, Tito won the "Most Comedic" award at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and performed twice the following year. In 2019, he co-hosted the Thursday night showcase of BHoF with Blanche Debris and Betsy Bottom Dollar. As well as performing live, Carasa has been acting most of his life, recently playing supporting roles in the Solo Picture Studios' short film "Super Powers," "You're So Talented," and in the pilot, "Entanglement". He has also appeared in music videos for Big Dipper ("Lookin") and Tony Pops ("Vacant"). In 2019, EPIX featured Bonito in their documentary series, "Sex Life" (Episode 2).
