Robyns studied with Harry Shoulberg in Manhattan and at the New York School of Industrial Art, New York. She continued her studies in Paris as an apprentice to Fernand Leger. In Los Angeles, Ms. Robyns opened a studio on Larchment, soon establishing herself as a prominent West Coast Artist, Jeweler and Sculptor. Annette studied at the Otis Art Institute and at California State University where she received her Masters of Fine Arts degree. With her husband, actor Donald Elson, she founded the Elson Robyns Gallery, a moving force in the Los Angeles art scene during the memorable 60s. Her art is included in both private and public collections throughout the United States and beyond.
