Annette Fradera was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lives between Austin,Tx. and Mexico City. Obtained a bachelor's music degree from The Royal School of Music (UK). She owns and runs her independent music production company Factoria Fradera.For over twenty five years she has worked for UNAM (National University of Mexico) and Bellas Artes theatre companies as well as for independent theatre. Founded and developed the indie record label Discos Cabaret (1990-2000), has produced a number of independent recording artists and designed, directed and produced special projects for BMG, Televisa, soaps and series, appointed as director of Argos Musica for Argos Comunicacion (1999-2001) and collaborated with Esquivel!. In his two last recordings.She has also designed and produced shows for Hannover 2000, Summerstage at Central Park, N.Y., APEC (2002) Lila Downs, and WOMAD (2002) among others.Specializes in Mexican -USA border music, Latin music for film, Mexican, Texan and Californian period music. Recipient of a Rockefeller grant for research of Mexican-US border music. Currently developing her music legal education project titled Musica en Corto in Mexico (for film students and musicians).She is a Music Producer and Consultant, Music Supervisor for film and TV.
