Anna Redi is working as performance artist in theaters across the world since 1985. She studied classical ballet from early age, soon her passion and talent burst into choreography, acting and writing her own work. She graduated with honors at DAMS University in Bologna (Italy) with a thesis on the work of Vittorio Mezzogiorno in the Mahabharata of Peter Brook. In 1992 she wins the IV ATER Ballet course in Reggio Emilia (Italy). In 1995 it's time for the Scenario Award as actress and author of her first work as writer and director "Bagarie", performed with together with dancer Annalisa Legato. She is also winner of the Girulà Award and has been nominated for the Ubu Award with "La Corona sognata". In 1999 she begins her activity as choreographer and trainer for Mario Martone; Anna features on "Don Giovanni"(2008) continues until 2019: at the moment she is involved with "Tango Glaciale". In the last 10 years Anna has been very active also TV and movie productions. Since 2010, she has a flourishing artistic partnership with Stefano Accorsi, who she coaches during preparation for his acting roles. The collaboration started with the movie "La vita facile", followed by the work on his character in Mediaset TV series "Camorra Connection" (2013). Other notable mentions are "The Referee", "Fast as the wind", Fortunata, The champion, the Sky TV series 1992, 1993 and 1994. Recently Anna held a three-months workshop for the teenager actors in the HBO series "My Brilliant Friend" and was also dance coach in the fifth episode "Le Scarpe"; her contribution to the series ends with a small cameo in the role of Professor Galiani. Anna has coached also other actors including Giovanna Mezzogiorno, Miriam Leone, Federica Rossellini, Jenny De Nucci, Claudia Potenza, Maria Rosaria Russo, Michele Rosiello and Chiara Baschetti. She has been dialogue coach for Letizia Casta. She worked "among others" with Vim Wandekeybus, Pippo Delbono, Enzo Moscato, Giorgio Diritti, Pietro Marcello, Giulio Manfredonia and as choreographer for Maestro Riccardo Muti.
