Anjel Goldmine is an actress, writer, and dancer based in New York City. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she has built a career that encompasses acting, dance, production and more.Ms. Goldmine played the supportive role opposite producer, Thomas "Nephew Tommy" Miles in the family film 'Wonder London' which was a great launch for her soon to be stunt acting work after performing an airlift stunt for the first time. In New York City, she continued to book film, theatre and TV projects. Not afraid to attack an attorney role, Ms. Goldmine complemented the teamwork in film Abdo and Saneya (2022). 'In Pieces' (2021), filmed as a supporting actress, played the best friend of a missing homicide. 'Going the Distance' (2018), was a short film she also starred in by ABlast Film Productions. She was then cast as the roaring alpha female "Faliah" in the Off-Broadway play, 'The March'(2017) at the Producer's Club near Times Square. In (2016), The Goldmine landed the lead role of 'Dorothy' at the National Black Theatre 'Oz Comes to Harlem' by Producer Clarke Clark, just to name a few.She saw her inspirations early in life with dancing ballet and cultural pieces. Her performing artistry began at the Kuumba House Dance Theatre where she was the leader in their youth group under the tutelage of Lori Amare. It was here where she was cast as "Sati", the leading role in 'Amasiko,' an annual South African play written and directed by Lindi Yenni. The group traveled performing at Wortham Theater Center, Jones Hall Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Miller Outdoor Theatre, Houston's Thanksgiving Parade, TSU parade, local schools, community centers and various states.She studied at Yale University Summer Conservatory for Drama and obtained a Film/TV Essentials certificate for (business and producing) from New York University Tisch.When Ms. Goldmine is not performing, she volunteers at non-profit organizations. S.H.A.P.E. Center being among her favorite place to volunteer is considered home.
