Angela Whitworth is an American born artist based in Los Angeles, originally from Wichita, KS. Her mother is Mexican and her father is of mixed European ancestry. In 2003, she met a traveling musician who lived in L.A. at The Vans Warped Tour which stopped in Wichita. She then moved to L.A. to have a whirlwind romance which lasted 2 years. When that was over, she decided to stay in the land of opportunity and then began waitressing and bartending at various spots in Venice, Santa Monica and Hollywood. She started modeling in 2009 for various advertisements and catalogs. She then picked up acting as a talent soon after. She has studied at Santa Monica College, Groundlings, UCB and CM Acting Studio. She has appeared in multiple movies, commercials, TV shows, music videos, and web series. She was later introduced to screenwriting and in June 2014, she along with a team of 16 other people shot the first short that she co-wrote and starred in. In 2015, she rekindled a romance with an art she once had as a teenager, photography. Having spent the past six years in front of the camera, she wanted to gain more control by jumping behind the lens and telling her own story. She is an avid animal lover and volunteers at the California Wildlife Center in Malibu helping abandoned, sick and injured animals.
