Angela Iranna Perkins is an American actress from Kansas City, Kansas (although raised in Southern California in the cities of Paramount and Moreno Valley). Perkins has made an appearance in Grammy-award winning music video "This is America" by Childish Gambino. She has also participated in stage work such as portraying a historical figure in groundbreaking stage play "Harlem South".Perkins continued to explore her on-screen strength by taking on "Maria" in the film adaptation of Shakespeare's , "Love's Labour's Lost"; a great cinematic work done by filmmaker Nicholas Musleh that served as an ode to female power.
