Andrew Courtney Sweet, Tall, Dark haired, English Actor, born in Keynsham, Bristol, son of Christopher Sweet an inventor of an early Computer machine and his mother Sylvia Sweet, has a Sister who is an Artist living in Devon called Sarah Sweet, He suffered with Dyslexia at school but enjoyed Art and Drama, his first Acting appearance was at Backwell comprehensive School playing two different parts in a comedy play written by his Drama Teacher he loved Acting so much he started his own Acting group which ran for one year producing short comedy plays.Upon leaving school his passion for Flying took a hold and he Joined his local Flying Club in Weston Super Mere Quickly gaining his Glider Pilot License, Soloing on his Sixtieth Birthday, he could fly planes before he could drive a car, he also worked in a small Photographic shop developing films to earned extra money to pay for his flying lessons, he completed his Private Pilot License within two weeks and got a Job working as a Tug Pilot for Gliding clubs across the UK later working Internationally in France and the Pyrenees, He lived and worked on Airfields for most of his early life, A bit of a bum living in digs or Caravans, his flying work at the time was some of the most Dangerous Flying work Pilot could do, it gained him respect throughout the industry also 2500hrs total flying time enough to sit his Airline Pilot exam's, he Passed the written exams but found it difficult to earn money while training at the same time, he ran out of funds before he could complete his training giving up his ambition to become a Airline Pilot in (2003).After many different Jobs and Business, he returned to Theatre by way of joining a Local Theatrical club, there he performed in many different plays which one night he was approached by a local film maker wondering if he would play the role of a trainee Hitman in a short he was making, He enjoyed the filming process so much that he started looking for work within film and Television.His first Acting appearance was in (2007) in a low budget Movie called Roanoke the lost Colony, he played the part of John White, a true story in which John White leaves England with 117 people to Colonize America, the Movie turned out to be (A low budget Movie) but gave the necessary skill's to switch from Theatre Actor to Film Actor over a year's filming to great effect.(2016) Has seen Andy Sweet play a X-Wing Pilot in there new Star wars Movie The Force Awakens and some of Britain's top TV shows, Galavant, Dr Who, Merlin, Atlantis, working alongside, Rutger Hauer, Vinnie Jones, Joshua Sasse, Timothy Omundson, Peter Capaldi, Karen Gillan, Jenna Coleman and David Tennant.
