Andrew John Morrison is a multi-talented actor, singer, and dancer. He was born in Scandia, Minnesota, to John Morrison and Mary Pries-Morrison. His father of Swedish ancestry and a fireman and his mother, of German ancestry, a nurse. He was raised as the fourth generation on the same farm that his Swedish ancestors settled at the end of the 19th century. As a child, Andrew began performing for the musical dinner theatre company, "The Duck Soup Players" and toured throughout Minnesota.In 2019, he earned lead roles in independent feature films and MFA Thesis films from A.F.I, Columbia, U.S.C., U.C.L.A. Chapman and C.S.U.M.B.- naturally taking on complex characters with unusual conflicts to overcome and applying his wide breadth of global experiences and artistic talents to create his vivid worlds. Andrew recently completed the production of the independent thriller-comedy "Creatures of Necessity" playing the lead role of 'Diamond', and post-production for "The Origin Story of Gerald the Lemon", "The Whip" and "Home". All films set to release in early 2020.Andrew is also no stranger to the stage, having performed in two musicals during his first year in LA, including "The London Rose", the first musical ever written about and performed by a transgender character that ran at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival and was awarded the 2019 Producers' Encore award. Beginning in January 2020, Andrew can be seen performing as Kid at the Odyssey Theatre for a performance of "Unseen Hand" written by Sam Shepard and directed by Darrell Larson.Andrew is an active member of Film Independent, IDA, and IFP.
