Originally from the East London area of England, Andrew Hillsden relocated to Malta at the end of 2003. After settling into his new home Andrew decided not to pursue his previous career in engineering, instead taking the opportunity to head in a new direction.Shortly after becoming involved in the local film industry it was suggested to Andrew that he should enter the world of stunts. Recognizing this as the challenge he had been seeking, Andrew undertook an extensive training program, receiving the award for 'Best Stunt Student' before going on to become a prominent member of Malta's largest stunt team at that time. Andrew later became a founder member of Mission Stunts.With his natural affinity to water and PADI Divemaster qualification, Andy is 'in his element' whenever water stunts are required, working many times in Malta's renowned studio tanks and the Mediterranean sea. Andy also specializes in historical weapons and fire action. Although naturally right-handed, Andy is also comfortable performing fight scenes, sword fighting and archery left-handed.
