Amanda Gari was born into the business - quite literally, as granddaughter of legendary comedian Eddie Cantor. Amanda worked primarily as a singer and impersonator before landing roles on "Loving" and "Ryan's Hope" while still living in New York.On the West Coast where she resides, she is most well known for her comedic roles on "Victorious" (where she portrayed a Christmas caroling Liza Minnelli) and the ongoing hit web series "Old Dogs & New Tricks" as Lydia Lasker (Personal Assistant by day, chanteuse by night). She is also quite at home with dramatic turns on "General Hospital" and "Cry Wolfe."Amanda's vocal versatility has led to many voice-over projects, including those as Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. That, plus her comedic edge were used to great advantage in the wry film spoofs "Sex Galaxy" and "President Wolfman."Amanda continues to pursue her musical theater background, and is proud of her debut CD "A Night of Neurotica." She also claims the definitive imitation of Flipper, though sadly, it is hardly ever called for.
