Amanda Cheung is a Canadian actress/dancer born on July 31st, 2002 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and is from a family of seven. She is the second oldest child of five, having an older sister, two younger brothers and a younger sister, two of which are also in the industry. From a very early age Amanda showed an aptitude for the performing arts and shined on stage as a child when she was introduced to the world of dance. Amanda thrived in the dance world being skilled in multiple disciplines such as Jazz, Contemporary, Acro, Ballet, Hip Hop and Lyrical and still is training and performing regularly. After many years of performing on stage, Amanda decided to branch her skills into the film and television industry and most recently theatre. Amanda was signed by her current agency and immediately started booking commercials and digital media spots while training with recognized acting coaches in Toronto. Amanda soon booked a recurring contract with the internationally recognized toy/media company "Spin Master Toys" as their face for their top selling brand "Cool Maker" becoming a popular fixture on products, print ads and commercials. She additionally had the pleasure of co-hosting 2 seasons of the YouTube web series "Cool Maker: Hang Out" for the brand of which she was nominated and won the 2019 Joey Award for Best Female Host Demonstrator - Ages 13-17" in Vancouver. She was additionally nominated the same year for a commercial for Cool Maker: KumiKreator. Amanda's film and television career launched when she booked a lead role on the short film Brave Little Army which has been selected for multiple film festivals around the world and bringing home many accolades. Most recently Amanda booked the series lead role of Emi in the new YouTube Originals show "Lockdown" through Sinking Ship Entertainment.
