Amanda Barker was born in Hanover, Massachusetts and at the age of 13, moved to New Brunswick with her family. Coming from an artistic family, Amanda went to Mount Allison University in New Brunswick to study English and Theater. She moved to Toronto and began working as major league baseball's only female mascot and began performing in various theater. Her knack for comedy found her at Toronto's Second City where she met Marco Timpano, her husband. Amanda has performed in film, TV, and commercials and is also a writer. Her show "Release the Stars: The Ballad of Randy and Evi Quaid" made Toronto Fringe history. She has spent some of 2012 and all of 2013 performing in "SPANK! A 50 Shades of Grey Parody".
