This quadruple threat began modeling, acting, singing and dancing from the age of five. She grew up on a farm in Utopia, Canada with her horses, dogs, fish, cat, birds and the occasional bunny. Oh yes, and, of course, an amazing mother, father and younger sister. I think there might even have been a goat or two in there somewhere, as well. Alyssa performed in a musical theater company, The Strolling Youth Players, for about seven years, performing in over 200 shows. During that time, she was also showing horses, studying ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop and swing. She took twelve long years of piano and endured many broken elbows during her ten years of gymnastics. You can catch this young rising star on various magazine pages in several different adverts and editorials. She has appeared in Cosmopolitan, Self, Seventeen, Maxim and YM to name a few. While living in New York City for the last four years, she worked on a few independent films and was featured in a nationwide Conair hair commercial.Alyssa had an adrenalin rushing time on the set of MTV's new show Damage Control (2005), and, although her role in Melinda and Melinda (2004) wasn't a huge one, she feels very blessed and honored to have worked on the project. She also didn't mind her on screen kiss with 'Johnny Lee Miller'. When Alyssa isn't working on one of the various avenues of her career, you'll catch her at her piano bench indulged in her music. She may one day decide to let all of you listen to it, but, as for now, it's her escape, as she says.
