Alyssa is a first-generation Mexican-American actress of Spanish and Italian descent. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston, majoring in broadcast journalism and marketing. At University of Houston, she was the Student Video Network's co-host for "Intuition", a member of Delta Zeta sorority, and served as Intern News Anchor at ABC-13 KTRK. You can catch her doing stand-up throughout the year in Los Angeles, and has booked many recurring characters on hit television shows like the highly anticipated Famous In Love, Silicon Valley, Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street, the 2016 pilot Broken, opposite Anna Paquin and the prank show, Fameless. She's bilingual in Spanish and has a special talent for accents, dialects and character voices, aiding her successful pursuit in the voiceover industry. She is a proud member of Nosotros and Nalip, groups that stride toward total inclusion of Latinos and all ethnicities and cultures in the entertainment industry.
