Alphonso Settles is an African-American actor/model from Detroit, Michigan that started off modeling locally in Detroit. He had instant exposure and success which eventually lead to him doing a couple different magazines which allowed him to become a published male model. That very soon opened the door for him to go into acting. His very first film was Ovid and The Art of Love (post-production)where he played the role of The Executioner in a scene with the great John Savage.
