Born of Mexican-Irish descent, Alley got her start on stage in San Jose, CA with the Teatro Vision Theater Company in the production of Roosters when she was 15 years old. In this production she played the daughter of a dead-beat cock-fighting father, woeful and withered mother, beloved niece of the town whore, wannabe nun with raging hormones who was in love with her brother who eventually discovers levitation is a real thing. She lived under her house with paper wings made out of gum-wrappers attached to her at all times. It was a defining role. Show less «
