After a failed interview attempt with Orson Welles, Allen was asked by Mr. Welles if he would like to stick around and be a party guest in his film "The Other Side of the Wind." Allen obliged and, after watching a filmmaking genius at work, was inspired onto a path that has led to numerous acting jobs and scholarly pursuits. Allen fine tuned his craft by studying with Stella Adler and, in 1992, set sail for London, England to study at the Greenwich Young People's Theatre, where the likes of Gary Oldman could be found. He continues to work in New York, Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest.
