Alina is the youngest of the family, born as a free spirited girl. Despise the hardship of the country, the former USSR country, Alina was tomboy, loving all of the sporty, strong things. By age 9 she was accepted into professional Ballet School in Latvia and that's when she started to change and her artistic and creative part started to come out. The school was very disciplined and hard, but it taught a great deal. Alina became one of the best students in class and one of the dancers in school, the parts she was dancing was way advanced for her age, she performed them with excellence and passion. By age 11 she started to travel around the country, performing with her school. Some of the countries were: Spain, France, Sweden... etc. Also she started to perform with the National Ballet Company with some of the biggest ballet dancers in the world, Maya Pliseckaja, Michail Baryshnikov. It was an incredible experiences that has prepared her for the great things ahead of her. By than Alina thought that she knew what she wanted in her life: to be a prima ballerina in Latvia, only to be surprised to what life really had in store for her. At 14, Alina left with her mother to America, leaving everything behind, all her security, passion... family. When she came to the U.S., she was enrolled into a boarding school in Florida "The Harid Conservatory" a private ballet school. She was left alone there, even thought her mom was in America, she lived in Illinois while Alina lived in the dormitory in Florida. It was one of the hardest things that she had to live through. Learn a new language, culture, people... life style. She lived in Florida for two years, two hard years, but it again prepared her for things ahead. After those two years, she left the school, quit ballet;and went to live with her mom and step-dad in Illinois. There she lived for a year and got a desire for acting, so at 17 she packed her things up and moved to L.A. by herself, not knowing anyone or anything... knowing only that that's where she has to be and that's where she belongs. It took her a while to figure some things out, build relationships, become strong and confident in her own body, before she became established in the industry.
