As a multidimensional performance artist from San Diego, CA, Alexandra Mason strives to inspire others through her belief in dreams and self-empowerment. Alexandra began dance training at age three and has been named a national champion for eleven cumulative years. Specializing in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Theatre, and a unique fusion of contemporary styles, Xandra has received countless awards accrediting her skills. For the past eight years Alexandra has been represented by one of LA's top dance agencies, BLOC, where she is hand-selected for auditions, classes, performances, and professional jobs, including music videos with the likes of Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, and more. Alexandra feels privileged to have worked and studied with some of the industry's finest choreographers, such as Tessandra Chavez, Mia Michaels, Fatima, Brian Freidman, Dante7, NappyTabs, and many more. Alexandra has also branched into fitness, modeling for companies such as Nike, XBOX, Nintendo, Zumba, and UbiSoft. Xandra has professionally trained in singing and acting since 2002. Since 2004 Alexandra has been represented commercially by three of LA's most renowned youth agents, Bonnie Ventis, Jody Alexander, and Philip Marcus (Clear Talent Group), who have guided her acting career to a steady simmer. In the past six years Xandra has appeared on episodes of several major-network TV shows, including Gigantic, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, True Jackson VP (Nickalodeon), Greek (ABC Family), and several national and international commercials (Education Connection, Orange Wireless, Budweiser). In the past three years Xandra has filmed three pilots for FOX, A&E and MTV/Lionsgate, and co-starred in two feature films. As a feisty young jazz singer, in 2006-07 Xandra was a key member of a multi-racial, multi-faceted Pop-girl group called BitterSweet. The group recorded a 7-track EP in 2006 and had a hit song on the radio the following year. From there the girls went on to co-host radio programs with renowned personality Rick Deez and DJs from "LA's #1 party station" Latino96.3fm. In 2007 BitterSweet opened Latino96.3fm's annual Calibash Concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim for a crowd of over 4,000. That same year BitterSweet filmed their hit music video, "Come Correct", with Reggaeton artist Ramon Santiago. Alexandra's connection with the group earned her a featured spot on Radio Disney as a solo artist, as well as recognition from a large number of industry professionals, including well-respected music producers and record executives. Since 2003, Alexandra has landed principle roles in TV shows, commercials, films, music videos, viral ads, professional live performances, and public service announcements, nationally and worldwide. Xandra is currently writing new music and screen material as well as assisting in creative processes for upcoming projects, which include photography shoots, live shows, music videos and films. As a young adult Xandra places a strong emphasis on health and happiness, and makes a large effort to empower those around her through inspiring symbiosis of passion and productivity in the Arts as well as daily life.
