Alexa Khaimenova (Alexandra Khaymenova) studied rhythmic gymnastics and won numerous awards as a young athlete. In 2007 she graduated top in her class from Moscow State Pedagogical University in Journalism. Her big launch into the spotlight came in 2010, when Alexa was selected to star in the "Alfa insurance" TV commercial. After her successful debut she was noticed by the chief editor of MAXIM magazine, which lead to her being featured in the Russian May edition. In 2010 Alexa was selected to play a beautiful translator, Alex in the film "The Man Who Saved The World" featuring Matt Damon, Kevin Costner, Robert De Niro and Ashton Kutcher. In 2011 in Dubai, UAE she took a role of a young beautiful lady in the short film "Long way down" directed by Egyptian director Yasser Howaidy. Alexa completed several acting trainings in New York, Moscow and Dubai: Meisner Technique at The Acting Studio INC, Stella Adler intensive scene study workshop in NYC, Stella Adler Monologue course in NYC, intensive course with Miranda Davidson Studios to name a few. Alexa currently lives in New York City.
