Alex Gurney is the youngest son of American racing legend Dan Gurney. After earning a bachelor's degree from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, he chose to follow in his dad's footsteps and pursue a racing career. Alex showed convincing speed immediately and eventually went on to win two Rolex Series Daytona prototype national championships ('07 and '09) as well as two overall poles at the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona ('07 and'14).
