Alberto Masliah, born on July 5th, 1967 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a producer, director, actor, and university professor. He began to study cinema when he was 15. He is a Sound and Image Designer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, where he has been an Audiovisual Design senior professor since 1995. He has pursued a career as an actor in the underground theater, receiving the Best Actor Award at the FACCMA Contest in 1993.In 2005, he produced and directed a documentary feature "Black Che, The First Disappeared" about the struggle that Afro-Argentine people had to put up to survive cultural disappearance and oblivion. This documentary has granted him the invitation to take part in the 4th International Low-Budget Film Festival in Gibara (Cuba), the 2nd Argentine Film Festival in Mexico City (Mexico), the 8th Human Rights International Film Festival (DerHumALC) in Buenos Aires (Argentina), the 8th "Santiago Álvarez In Memoriam" International Documentary Festival in Santiago de Cuba (Cuba), and the 3rd International Film Festival "El Ojo Cojo" in Madrid (Spain), among other festivals and events. In 2009 he produced "Neighbors"), a feature film directed by Rodolfo Durán. In 2010, he produced "Palm Sunday", a feature film directed by Toti Glusman. Additionally, during the same year, he directed "Schafhaus", the first fictional film he has directed where he has also been co-screenwriter, producer, and actor. In 2012, he produced and directed a documentary feature "The Last Quilombo". Mention Best Documentary National XV edition of the International Film Festival on Human Rights (DerHumALC), Buenos Aires (Argentina), selected for the official competition and award XXVIII Argentine Malvinas Latino Film Festival Trieste (Italy). Also in 2012 he produced "When I see you again" a feature film directed by Rodolfo Durán. In 2014 he produced "Carmen Karma" feature film by Rodolfo Durán. Also in 2014 is a executive producer on "The Passion according León" a documentary feature directed by Toti Glusman. In 2015 he produced and directed a documentary feature "Yenu Kade. Also in 2015, he produced "Bromance" a feature film by Lucas Santa Ana. In 2016 he produced and directed a documentary feature "In the flesh". Also in 2016 he produced a documentary feature "The unforgettable gay" by Lucas Santa Ana. In 2017 he produced and directed "The sound of tulip", in post-production. Also in 2017 he produced a documentary feature "Nothing ends on the eve" by Pablo Moro and Florencia Orce. In 2018 he produced "Postman" feature film by Emiliano Serra, in post-production. Also in 2018 he produced "The hunter" feature film by Marco Berger, in post-production.It has been awarded the "Declaration of social and cultural benefit to the City of Buenos Aires" to two of his documentary films.
