Alan served as Director of Security for Whitney Houston and her company Nippy Inc, from 1996 to 2002 ( beginning work for Nippy Inc in 1995), on all world, regional foreign and domestic tours, award shows, and major motion pictures during that period. Alan's specialties were related to stalkers and was described as an expert "predator hunter" by Bob Duggan, CEO of Executive Security International, where Alan created and instructed their first dedicated block dedicated to celebrity protection. Alan also served as director of security for actress Meg Ryan filming "In the Cut", as well as Director of Security for music producer Rodney Jerkins for the filming of the movie "Honey" Prior to the entertainment industry, Alan worked in the political and corporate security segments of the business.
