Aisha Bryant was born September 18th in Laguna Hills, California. Her father,(now a retired Marine), is the President of the World Pool & Billiard Association- Artistic Pool Division, former Vice President of The NAACP of Cobb County, a Mason, community activist, and a retired accountant. Her mom works for Department of Corrections and is a designer. Aisha is of African American and Native American descent, specifically Choctaw Indian.At the age of 3, Aisha was quickly exposed to the entertainment industry. She started singing in the church choir and continued on to do more performances throughout Georgia. Bryant has had the opportunity to sing at Disney World, The Governor's Mansion, Stone Mountain Park, parades, American Legions, Veteran's Day ceremonies and much more. She has also been involved in over several stage productions. Bryant attended Pebblebrook High school which is a Performing Arts school located in Mableton, GA focusing in Voice, Dance, and Acting. The talented student majored in Vocal and minored in Drama while attending the school for excellence. Not only was Aisha talented, she also excelled in academics. During her 4 years at Pebblebrook, she was selected to be in a special choir for students who are advanced in music. She made history becoming the first female and African American in her high school's 45-year history to attend All-State chorus six consecutive years in Savannah, Georgia (7th grade-12th grade). Ms. Bryant was honored and recognized at the event in Savannah, her school, and community.Aisha has been in over dozens of theater productions such as the Tony Award winning production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee playing the lead role, Marcy Park. She has had roles in High School Musical, A Raisin in the Sun, Bye-Bye Birdie Musical, and much more. Aisha has been featured as a dancer in Footloose (2011), Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too, and Joyful Noise starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifiah. She has also been apart of other major movies and films. Love After Death (2015), a film she had a lead role in, received Best Screeplay Award, Best Director Award and Aisha received Best Actor Award for her role at the 2016 Atlanta Technical College Student Film Festival. Sexual Dysfunction (2013), a film she had a role in, received an Honorable Mention at North Carolina's SkyFest Film and Script Festival and People's Choice at Athens Film Festival. She also had the opportunity to re-enact a crime in a major TV show called Fatal Attraction on TV One playing the lead role.Although Ms. Bryant has a passion for the Arts, she is also passionate about her community. Volunteerism is a big part of her life. At the age of 6, she worked at her father's non-profit. Aisha then began to have political aspirations. At age 11, she was accepted into the Georgia House of Representatives Page Program at the Georgia State Capitol as a legislative page. She showed interest in working with the youth. She continued to make a difference and working with different organizations in Georgia. In college, Ms. Bryant was 1 of 5 students to receive a full scholarship to study in France for a month. While studying in France she had the opportunity to put on an impromptu performance at Mont Saint-Michel. Upon returning to school she was presented with an Outstanding Georgia Citizens Award from the Secretary of State as a Goodwill Ambassador at the age of 19. Show less «
