Aditya Geddada is a young actor on the rise who will appear in his first feature film role this fall. Discovered by an agent while playing in a lobby, Aditya landed a lead role after his very first audition at just seven years old.He will debut in Amazon Studios Encounter, from BAFTA award winning director Michael Pearce, alongside Academy Award nominee, Riz Ahmed and Academy Award winner, Octavia Spencer. The film will have its World Premiere at the 48th Telluride Film Festival and its International Premiere at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival.While he is in his element on set, Aditya also loves spending time with his sister, avidly following Formula 1 racing, biking, swimming, and playing basketball and Frisbee. He is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, Marvel and Star Wars films, and classic Tom & Jerry cartoons. Aditya can be found playing creatively with Legos and Beyblades whenever he has a free moment.Aditya approaches all things with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and determination, from school, where he is on an academically accelerated path, to Student Council, where he advocates for his peers' opinions to be heard. Empathy and community-mindedness are important to Aditya and he is always seeking ways to help, from raising over $1,000 with his sister to purchase toys for the patients at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, to being a good citizen in the neighborhood.
