Adam Hedditch is an Australian Actor and Stand Up Comedian. Adam was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales and raised in Brisbane, Queensland. It is here that Adam got his first taste of the acting bug, performing at his local community theatre in productions like A Man for All Seasons and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He also performed as a street artist at Movie World on the Gold Coast for 2 years further cementing his new found love of the craft. Adam then commenced a 3 year journey at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to further his education as an actor. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts (Drama). Adam made his big screen debut in 1996 in the feature film Thank God He Met Lizzie and many small roles in other big budget productions began to follow. Since then he has appeared on TV in Big Sky (1996), Home and Away (1997,2002,2008,2017), A Difficult Woman (1998), All Saints (1998), Marriage Acts (1999), Young Lions (2002), Deadly Women (2014, 2016,2020), The White Rabbit Project (2016), Harrow (2019), Back to the Rafters (2020). He has also appeared in many short films including Divorcing Mrs Petersen (2013), the award winning Swipe Left (2016), Flowers (Winner: Best Actor) (2017) Sisyphus in the City (2018), Friendzone Island (2018), Americans in Oz (2018), My name is Richard (2019) and Storm (2020). As an accomplished stand up comedian, Adam is the taller half of the musical comedy duo Big Brother Little Brother. The brothers started working together in 2001, went on to win a prestigious, national comedy competition in 2002, and have since gone on to perform all over Australia and the world. They have appeared on television and radio, performed at Parliament House and even entertained our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, not once, but three times. This dynamic duo are also seasoned professionals when it comes to corporate audiences. Adam also features regularly in a wide range of television commercials, in both dramatic and comedic roles. Adam continues to expand his participation in, and passion for, all the performing arts and modalities.
