Dr. William Okafor was the principal of the consolidated school in Lamar, Colorado, which Tom and Murph Cooper both attended. He was born in the year 2025 in Accra, Ghana, Africa. He came to America as a child, escaping the famine wars, having grown up in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, graduating with a doctorate in education in 2054. He was a fair-minded and level-headed man that sincerely wanted for his students what was best for the future of mankind's survival as opposed to personal desires and ambitions, given the state Earth was in and that the population of his home continent was almost completely extinct from famine and blight. Murph Cooper was one of his brightest students and graduated from high school there. Dr. Okafor retired in 2085. He never left Earth after the space stations were launched and believed that mankind should remain. He was one of the last remaining people that stayed on Earth and died in 2100 at the age of 75 from lung disease and malnutrition. Show less «
