Lionel Racer is Rex, Speed, and Spritle's father, and the owner of Racer Motors. He loves his family and, like Speed even moreso, will protect them at all costs. He initially protests Speed's participation in the Casa Cristo Rally that killed Rex, but comes around with minimal effort from his wife, Mom Racer. He is a bit on the strict side but it's only to protect his sons. He got into an argument with Rex right before Rex left. Pops tells Rex never to come back if he leaves, and Rex doesn't return...instead he becomes Racer X and looks after Speed from the shadows. Show less «
