Erin is the new receptionist at Dunder Mifflin/Sabre. She replaced Pam Beesly when Pam left with Michael when he wanted to start his own paper company. Erin's actual first name is Kelly, but since there was already a Kelly in the office and it got confusing, she decided to go by her middle name of Erin. Since then, Erin and Kelly have become terrific friends. Erin was worried she would lose her job when Pam returned, but Pam returned as a saleswoman, meaning Erin would continue to be the receptionist. Recently, Erin has caught the eye of Andy Bernard. The two are both silly and a bit awkward, meaning they would make a good match, but can't seem to say the right things to get together. Only time will tell if either will break out of their shells to let a romance blossom.
