Gypsy is the car mechanic in Stars Hollow. She is very down-to-earth and says just what she thinks. At one point, there is an accident involving Gypsy and Andrew from the bookstore, and the verdict is decided in favor of Andrew by a show of hands at a Town Meeting, at which time Gypsy states that she can not wait until the town gets a courthouse. Gypsy is one of the few who has the nerve to tell Luke that they won't eat at his place anymore due to the weird local kid he hired that does not keep things sanitary and forgets what he is doing mid-task. (Of course, she and the others return once Luke lets the kid go.) Gypsy likes to be part of the Town Meetings and other festivities, including the bon voyage party thrown for Rory Gilmore in the series finale.
